RBs Chris Ivory and Bilal Powell rushed the ball effectively yesterday to help lead the Jets to a 24-13 win against Cleveland.

Going into the game, The Jets went up against a 16th ranked Browns’ rushing defense so OC Marty Morhinweg and RB coach Anthony Lynn found a way to attack that.

Chris Ivory ran for a total 109 yards off of 20 carries, which is the second highest he ran this season. (against Saints, 139yds). Ivory also had a 21yd run to help Geno later on throw a TD to WR David Nelson. The Jets are now 3-0 when Ivory runs for 100yds or more.

Ivory also got little but big help from Bilal Powell who hasn’t been as big as a factor to this team this year. Powell had 54 yards off of 7 carries. Including a 39 yard run in the second quarter  to set up a Nick Folk FG to tie the game at 10 going into the half.

The Jets ran for a total of 208 yards in this game all coming from Ivory, Powell and even Geno Smith.
