After suffering a loss against the Panthers, head coach Rex Ryan doesn’t seem worried that he may be on the hot seat in the offseason with the Jets likely miss the playoffs.

GM John Idzik may or may not fire Rex Ryan after this season but Rex doesn’t seem worried about it.

“I know I’m a good football coach.” Rex said. “I believe in this team and in this organization.” Ryan said. “I am the right guy to lead the Jets going forward, there’s no question.”

Rex was asked on if he would need to win these last two games to secure his job.

“ No, everything will take care of itself down the road.” Rex told reporters.

It should be interesting to see if the Jets decided to move in a new direction in head coaches. Rex said that he and John Idzik both want to win but so far winning consecutively hasn’t been an option for Rex and the team.
