Mike Goodson’s season cut short

Jets RB Mike Goodson has received an MRI on his knee and sources confirm that he will be done for the season.

After missing practice and games due to a suspension, Jets RB Mike Goodson played his second New York Jets game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

During that game, Goodson made a tackle after a Geno Smith INT, where he seemed to go down very awkwardly and unfortunately had to leave the game.

Goodson’s MRI confirmed that the RB has a torn ACL and MCL and will be done for the season.

The Jets were hoping to use Goodson to contribute to their “Ground and pound” running game, but I guess now the Jets will leave it in the hands of Bilal Powell and Chris Ivory.
